Purgatory Chasm Double Exposure

This is a double exposure image taken with my Holga 120 medium format film camera.

My aim was to first take a photo of the “chasm closed” sign at Purgatory Chasm in Sutton, Massachusetts. This was the middle of winter and the chasm is definitely dangerous this time of year.

Once I had that base image taken, I walked over to the entrance of the chasm itself. I took a photo of that snowy chasm entrance. Because I did not wind the film in between, that second photo overlaid on top of the first one.

I took this with Kodak Portra 400 Pro ISO 400 Color film.
